Innovation@Amazon Online Hackathon

Welcome to the Innovation@Amazon Online Hackathon - an event where we employ technology to make the world a better place. Hundreds of our participants will work on unleashing the potential of Amazon Alexa virtual assistant for solving important social problems. We are looking for voice-controlled applications or their prototypes that support people with disabilities or their allies (family, friends, coworkers, caregivers) by improving their well-being and inclusion.

Jury will evaluate submitted applications considering their quality of development, creativity, design, functionality, and impact on the community.

During this event we are focusing on building Alexa skills helping with socially important problems of the elderly, people with visual impairments, motor impairments, neurodevelopmental disorders, neurological disorders (including dementia) and chronic diseases. However, there are no limits - every creative solution that makes the world more accessible is welcomed.

The event will take place on November 27-29th and will be preceded by a series of webinars given by Amazon experts, carried out throughout October, on topics related to building modern and innovative technological solutions.
