Do you talk to potential clients or business partners?

Do you pitch your company to investors?

Do you communicate with your team?

Do you communicate with your team online (remote/hybrid work)?

Do you go to networking events where you need to present yourself and your company?

Are you stressed out when you need to deliver a presentation or speak in English? Or deliver a presentation in English?

Matt Abrahams will be sharing ideas on how we can improve our communication in the above situations and settings.

And better communication means creating efficient teams, attracting more clients and investors, no time wasted on disputes and less stress.

Matt Abrahams teaches Strategic Communication at Stanford University Graduate School of Business. He is also an entrepreneur, a co-founder and principal at Bold Echo Communications Solutions, a company based in Silicon Valley.

Earlier he held senior leadership positions in several leading software companies.

Matt helps people improve their presentation and communication skills. He has worked with executives to help them prepare and present keynote addresses. He also trained people to deliver TED talks.

He has published research articles on cognitive planning, persuasion, and interpersonal communication.

He is the author of "Speaking Up Without Freaking Out", a book written to help people who are stressed by the sheer thought of speaking in public, with a special chapter on speaking in English if it is your second or foreign language.

Your host for the evening and interviewer will be Sylwia Kolczyńska, business trainer specialising in dealing with stress and building resilience, Advisory Box Expert, a member of Klub Inteligencji Biznesu (entrepreneurs' networking organisation).

The event will take place on October 13 (Wednesday) at 19:30 CET (Warsaw) / 18:30 London Time, online on Zoom.
