Bartosz Sokorski - Modern Python packaging

Over the past few years, a great number of new standards related to the creation and distribution of Python packages have been introduced. In Python 3.12, the 'setuptools' module was removed from the default installation. During the presentation, I will try to shortly talk about the changes that have taken place and show you how to make your life easier working with Python packages these days.

Studying is my passion! I am a lifelong learner with a keen interest in Software Design. I thrive on tackling new and complex challenges and am proud to be a part of one of the largest UEM, ITAM, and MDM software company that serves millions of clients. I enjoy keeping up with the latest technologies and even find joy in refactoring. Furthermore, I consider refactoring and clear design to be essential components of any software. My primary languages are Python, C++, and JavaScript. In my free time, I like to unwind by listening to electronic music and exploring my interests in Photography and Modern Art.
