Schindler's factory museum is located in the building where Oskar Schindler enamel factory was located during German Nazi occupation. This industrialist, was also Nazi spy, slave labor exploiter, but became world famous as a savior mainly thanks to the movie called "The Schindler's list".
In fact Oscar Schindler saved about 1200 Jewish people from Holocaust and Steven Spielberg showed a little bit of real true life of the main character such as to be a drunk and womanizer, nevertheless the entire movie definitely depicted him in very positive way and silenced many negatives part of his biography.
Museum in Schindler's factory was open in 2010 and since the very beginning the problem was, that… the exhibition is not about Schindler. Permanent exhibition is officially called: "Kraków under German Nazi occupation 1939-1945. Therefore many visitors are disappointed because they didn't find there content they, were looking for.
