❎ PRESENTATION DESCRIPTIONS ❎

How to Grow Your Seniority: From Executor to Technical Leader - Magdalena Kunat - Ciunowicz
Abstract:
Seniority is not just about years of experience or technical skills. It's aboutmindset, communication, and the impact you have on the organization. In thispresentation, we'll discuss how to shift your perspective from "I complete tasks" to "Isolve business problems", how to take control of your career through purposeful1:1s, making your work and impact visible, and building influence across theorganization. We will focus on key foundations such as reliability, trust-building,accountability for outcomes, and the courage to engage in difficult conversations andprovide constructive feedback.

Debugging Self-Doubt: A Framework for Building Confidence - Natalia Nazaruk
Abstract:
As engineers and engineering leaders, we're expected to be confident, decisive, and clear — even when we're privately questioning ourselves. Self-doubtdoesn't disappear with seniority; it shows up in high-stakes meetings, delayeddecisions, and softened feedback. In this talk, Natalia introduces the ConfidenceDebugging Framework (CDF) — a practical, engineering-inspired approach tounderstanding and handling self-doubt in leadership. Treating confidence like asystem, the framework helps leaders identify confidence failures, trace their rootcauses, and apply targeted fixes that stick.

The Human Aspect of Cyber Attacks - Joanna Kwiek
Abstract:
Cybersecurity is often associated with technology, systems, and softwarevulnerabilities, but many attacks succeed because they target people rather thanmachines. In this presentation, we'll explore how cybercriminals exploit humanbehavior, trust, emotions, and everyday habits to gain access to sensitive informationor systems. Understanding the human aspect of cyber attacks helps us see thateffective cybersecurity is not only about technical protection, but also about people.
