In this presentation, we will dive into the world of modern testing frameworks by comparing three prominent tools: Playwright, WebdriverIO, and Cypress. As developers and QA engineers seek the most effective solutions for web application testing, we will explore their unique features, capabilities, and advantages. We'll analyze the ease of setup, reliability, speed, debugging capabilities, and overall control offered by these frameworks. In the presentation, we will dive into concepts of BDD - an agile software development methodology that emphasises collaboration between stakeholders and that enables us to write test scenarios that are readable to all. Playwright is a modern and popular tool that allows automating complex web workflows. We will explore how BDD and Playwright together transform testing workflows and enhance collaboration within a team.
