Association of Polish Regions of the Transport Corridor Baltic Adriatic brings together seven Polish regions located along the corridor. In its activities, it strives to strengthen the north-south transport connections in Poland. It also initiates projects aimed at the economic development of the corridor zone, especially at its nodal points.

Therefore together with the Consulate of Hungary and EIT Urban Mobility we would like to organize a conference in Autumn. The event would take place in Hungary in October of this year.

The discussion will be an information and idea exchange, between stakeholders in the transport and alternative fuel industry, concerning the timely and important topic of reducing carbon emissions from transport.

Major decarbonization ways for transportation include changing to lower-carbon fuels, improving vehicle efficiency, and improving system-wide efficiency. Other opportunities include increase use of intermodal transport. Development of intermodal transport is the fastest way to decarbonize transportation sectors and contribute to reduction of its carbon footprint.
