Techstars Startup Weekend Warsaw

Techstars Startup Weekend is a 54-hour-long hackathon that will be held at Google Campus in Warsaw on March 15-17th. Already second edition of this event will gather up to 150 tech founders, programmers, marketing geniuses and project managers to give birth to new ideas, supported by seasoned founders, investors and mentors. During 2,5 days, teams must develop a business model as well as a working prototype. The teams best assessed by the jury will be awarded with an array of prizes.

The event is in ENGLISH.

By participating in the event, you guarantee that any ideas you will bring in are new and haven't been developed before the hackathon.

As a courtesy to all participants and local startup community, the organizing team wants to ensure the best experience for all attendees using the above-mentioned rule.

How it works: on Friday evening, we will have "Pitch fire" where anyone can have under 60 seconds to present their idea. Props are ok, but slides are not, keep it short and raw :) 

After that, each participant will have 3 votes to distribute for the best ideas in their opinion. Best 16 voted ideas will make it to the weekend and the final pitching on Sunday.

If your ideas is not chosen, you can still work on it, but only if you have more than 2 people in the team.

There are no pre-defined problems/ideas or verticals, you can pitch any idea you have for a startup.

Terms of Participation Agreement: It is our job to provide you with an incredible networking and learning experience. Our intention is that you meet some amazing people that you might start a company with, learn from mentors and learn from your peers. The event is intended to be a collaborative forum for sharing, learning, building, and having fun. As such, by registering as a participant, you acknowledge that any ideas shared by you or anyone else over the course of the event are contributions to the overall experience and community. If you're very concerned, you can limit your pitch to the rough outline of the idea without giving away key information.

As a member of your startup community, you agree to be inclusive of any and all people and their ideas. You agree to act professionally, treat everyone with respect, and treat the event facilities with proper care. You agree that you are responsible in the event of any accidents or damages that you cause. You also agree to not hold Techstars Startup Weekend, your local volunteer team, or any of the event supporters liable for any loss, damage, injury, or any other unforeseeable incident.

By participating in the event, you grant Techstars permission to capture photos/videos of the event and use them for marketing purposes, so we can continue to offer amazing Techstars Startup Weekends around the world.
